Friday arrival

Share a cab for 12:00 pm lunch in Tour Eiffel 1st floor, ALTITUDE 95. (You can meet the group on the Paris Discovery tour here after lunch)
Paris City Tour $42
2:00 pm. includes the Champs Elysees, Trocadero, Eiffel Tower (visits in the 2nd floor) Bridge Alexandre III, Les Invalides, Luxembourg, Tuillerie, Beaubourg, Bastille, Place of Vosges, le Marais, Notre Dame de Paris (visit), opera. (visit Eiffel Tower first and pick up lunch group for remaining tour.)
Dinner at Chic Chez Jenny $110
7:30pm Departure for dinner at the brewery Alsatian very plug and very known in Paris. The decorations of rooms are magifique at restaurant Chez Jenny a Typical "Grande Brasserie Alsacienne".

Saturday - Morning
Food, Flowers & I'ile Saint Louis $28
8:30 am Departure to La Place des Ternes 17ème (visit of the food market) then to the l'Île de la Cité and the visit of the flower market. Also, visit of the I'île Saint Louis with it's quaint, village street feel, and possible visit to Berthillon's mecca of Parisian ice cream then continue up to the Mairie of Paris (if you eat zzzzz ice cream…..you pay separately for et…).

Saturday - Afternoon
Marias Walking Tour $69
2:00 pm Departure in coach towards the Marais. Walk on foot " Place of Vosges, Victor Hugo museums and Picasso, Atmosphere of the street of Rosiers, hotel of Soubise, the Village Saint Paul and his shops of antiques and arts. This is one of the most interesting and oldest neighborhoods in Paris. Then we visit the Museum of wines, tasting of several fabulous wines and see the ceremony of inauguration (Animated by the members of the brotherhood dressed in their suit of splendor. The new members (3) receive a medal and a diploma during the ceremony with exhibits in its medieval cellers.
Evening at MOULIN ROUGE (no jeans or tennis shoes please)

Sunday
Chateaux of the Loire Valley (full day) $149
- Departure 7:30 am visits of the Castle of Chambord, the medieval Castle of Chaumont on the Loire.
- Have lunch at the restaurant, Chaumont on the Loire or Le Relais du Chateau Chenonceaux.
- Visit the Castle of Chenonceaux.
- On the way back visit Amboise and tasting of a cellar " wine Touraine Mesland Gamay, Cabernet, Côt).
Antique Market $30 ½ day
8:30 am Departure to the Marché aux Puces of Saint Ouen with guide, one of the most ancient and the biggest antiquity market of Paris (15 km long)
Opera
2:30 Opera "Guillaume Tell" at Bastille (I can get tickets for - about $150 if you are interested)
Monday
Champagne 12 hours (full day) $145
Fabulous day in beautiful champagne country. See REIMS with visit to the stunning Cathedral of Reims, Visit of the cellars of the MUMM and enjoy a tasting of champagne with a visit of the vineyard. We will take lunch on our own somewhere in the champagne region. Visit EPERNAY, Visit the cellar of an old Family house "Champagne Leclerc-Briant" and tasting champagne again…Oh La La! You can buy champagne at various stops during the day.

Landing Beaches in Normandy (minimum 20 people) $179
- 7:00am Enjoy the city of ROUEN where Phyllis went to school, and visit the gothic Cathedral.
- Free time in quaint HONFLEUR, then visit the Farm "Manoir d'Apreval" and tasting CIDRE.
- Lunch in the farm.
- Visit of the beach of the landing: Omaha Beach, Saint Laurent, the American Cemetery, Port(bearing) in Bessin, Arromanche and the Artificial Port(bearing)
- Return by the coast Courseulles sue mer, Ouistreham (tasting oysters) Cabourg, Houlgate, Deauville and back at 8pm.
Tuesday - Morning
Fashion and Shopping $30
Meet at the department store of Le Printemps at 9am for the parade of private mode at 10AM, and shopping -10 %. Discount. Save receips for VAT refund from all departments! Then bus will pick us up and take us to the discount stores for shopping : Cacharel, Dorotennis stock, Régina Rubens, Sonia Rykiel, Carven Stock, Daniel Hechter These shops are factory shops where they sell the collections of the previous year with reduction from 50 to 70%.
Versailles (1/2 day) $55 - 5 hours
8:30 am Departure to the Castle of Versailles and visit of the castle and gardens.
Tuesday - Afternoon
Parisian Artisan Visit $35
2:00 pm Departure in coach for one visit of the village of the viaduc of the arts (129 Parisian artisans expose their work). There are approximately 50 creative artisans of arts. It is possible to go into shops and to visit the museum of the Copper. There is also art for sale here.
TBA - Le Cordon Bleu demonstration and sampling of food.
Wednesday - Morning
Saint Denis and Montmartre ½ day $45
Morning Visits of the Basilica Saint Denis, where are interred Kings of France.
Visits of Montmartre, the Sacred Coeur and the Museum of Montmartre.

Visits of the Museum of Orsay - afternoon - 2pm $44
Guided tour of this museum which is located in the old train station with decoration of the 1900's and is completely protected in its original design. As from the spring, 2003, the museum will welcome his guests in a modernized space endowed with a new bookshop. So will end a long period of works the first phase of which had ended with the delivery of a new space of vaster, temporary exhibition and an easier traffic. This space allows the organization of large-scale exhibitions.
The big exhibition of the spring, 2003 will be dedicated to the French daguerreotype The season 2003-2004 will mark a new stage for the museum of Orsay: of new spaces of reception, sale and exhibition The opening of a gallery perms of photography the inauguration of which is foreseen in October, 2002, and a season of exhibitions among which The previous history of the abstraction in autumn, 2003, and Johan Barthold Jongkind ( 1819-1891 ) in summer, 2004, so many novelties which will illustrate the will to make of the museum of Orsay an alive place.
